Question Hi ,
This is Suresh from Chennai, India. I installed the JailBreak mod for Quake III. However, when I run the shortcut installed on my desktop, the Quake 3 console opens and after sometime I get an error saying "User Interface is version 4, expected 3". The normal game runs without any glitch. Please help me. Mail a solution for this problem to suresh_mask@rediffmail.com

Answer Hi, I have not played jailbreak mod, so I dont know about the mod. But I have experienced similar problems with some other mods. It seems that the mod has been made for version 4 of quake. So you need to upgrade your version with "quake 3 point release patch 4". You can find this on the net, or in one of the DIGIT playware cd's of this year. ( I think it was in the jan cd, If not, check one of the others, because thats where I got mine)
