About Dennis Fastenow Expertise I have been building high grade gaming systems for about 5 years and have experience with most games of the first person shooter type.
Question Whenever I start my copy Of RTCW I get an error "Couldn't Load Default.cfg". I have not installed it into the root Directory and I have even tried two or three suggestions I found on various forums, still no luck. When I run The multiplayer version of the game it does start but everything is blurry and the icons are illigible. Today I found that one of the files in the main directory sp_pak3.pk3 was smaller in size then the file of the same name in my compact disk. I tried to copy it but I get a read error. Can you tell me where I can download This file?
Answer Is this a "store bought" disk or a "back up copy"? If it is a "backup copy" there may have been issues when the disk was copied some copy protections will really put the scew to a disk copy routine...Try going to Gamecopyworld.com and looking for solutions if that is the case. Also I don't have any spec on your computer so I don't know if it meets minimum standard or not?? Could also be a corrupted video driver or an old version of direct X
