Expert: Hagix - 1/9/2001

Question
Okay, we have TR III and have tried playing with it---my 12 yr old succeeded.  HOwever, now Lara's house is dark (no lights for the bedroom fireplace). All halls absolutely pitch black. I purchased a authorized game guide, tried the 900 number to no avail.  

How do we turn on the light inside the house so we can play with the program?
How did we happen to switch them off?  WE have tried everything.

Hi,

this is not a feature of the game. Something is wrong with your hardware or some settings. Was the game always this dark? If not, you must have changed something you shouldn't have.

If you still don't have a clue try the following:

1.) Lower the game resolution in the TR III setup. Some cards are too slow for higher resolution.

2.) Open "Properties of display" in the control panel and check if there is a way to raise the "gamma value" of the display. This will make the game brighter.

3.) Consult the website of your graphics card's manufacturer and install the latest drivers.

4.) If all fails turn the brighness of your monitor up.
