How can I play a game that is formatted for win 98 on win XP

depending on the game(some just do not co-operate) you may be able to run the game in what is known as compatability mode. Just right click on the executible file and choose the O.S.that you want to run the game under.

executable is the .exe file (this can also be used with the installation exe...)
