Expert: Dennis Fastenow - 8/13/2004

Question
I recently installed windows xp,(I had ME) and tryed to install motocross madness 2. It worked fine on ME, but with xp, it will just close with an error message. It gives  the numbers 0x00000000 along with a file that reads c:\docume~1\ralph\locals~1\temp\wer1e.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt. What can i do to solve this problem? Thank you.

You can run the game in what is known as compatibility mode
find the MX2 "exe" file, right click on it, select compatability mode from the drop down menu and the software you want to "emulate" this works for a number of "older" games that I could not otherwise get to run under XP
