Question
hi

i want to play quake3 or UT with a friend on a broadband connection over the internet

can i set up a totally 'private' game between 2 machines if i know the static IP of the 2 PCs?

is it easy to do? can you point me to any FAQs or 'how-to's that might help actually do this?

thanks

neill

Answer
yes you can, all you need to know is your buddies ip or yours, then set up a room with a password, and only tell your buddy about it, he will search for the room using your ip, and then to gain access he will use the password only you and him know, presto a private internet game.

I can answer many questions about gaming. I have been a hardcore gamer since the age of 10, I have been gaming ever since, I enjoy a wide range of games, which are available for PC`s and all the gaming consoles. Really the only question I can answer about gaming is how to program you own games, using gaming engines sometimes supplied with games, but I am in the process of learning.
