Action Games/punkbuster

Question
Dear Prashanth

I'm not very experienced at playing games over the internet but I've been playing Call of Duty a lot over the net recently and I keep getting a message either saying that my "ping  is too high" or I've been cheating and I get "punkbusted" by something called "punkbuster". Either way I get kicked off the server. What does all this mean because I've not cheated intentionally and I have no idea what a ping is?

Thanks

Gary

Answer
hi gary. Ping being too high means that your <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=internet&v=56">internet</a> connection is too slow. usually slow machines are not allowed to play <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=online&v=56">online</a>.

dont worry about the punkbuster, maybe it is a way of telling that your machine is slow. or maybe you are using some trainer. if not then dont worry about it.
