Action Games/wolfenstein improve headshot

QuestionHi,
I play wolfenstein (RTCW) since january 2002 now. I try to improve myself all the time, but now I am stuck.
I tweaked my cfg files and use fov 90 for distance fights. I have a good mouse (razer2k) and a very small aimer (a dot).
I think all is left for me to improve my aim is getting a bigger screen or get more skilled.
So I need to get more skilled. In the old days, I could improve skill just by roaming the public servers and fight my wars. However, this is not going fast enough anymore cause I kill other players even when I dont aim perfect.
Sometimes however I meet someone who is able to drop me time over time from medium and long distances with 5 bullets. I want to be able to do that also.
My question: Is there a good method to improve my aim?
AnswerI see that you have the habit of killing a lot of opponents. But are you good enough?. How many bullets do you take to kill someone?. If you are good enough you will kill anyone with just one bullet! from the luger. If you don't do this, then learn to do it now!. (Hit 'em bang in the center of the head.)
The only way to be good is to practice hard. Try finding servers with a lot of good players. Usually very good players play each other once in a while. Try finding someone whom you think is good eough and ask him about this.
If you want a more challenging game, then play using the sniper but without the scope i.e play using the sniper gun as you would with a luger. Since the normal fire does not show a crosshair, you should find this comparitively tough initially. Or better still, turn off the crosshair and play.
BTW, having a small crosshair(dot) doesn't necessarily improve your aim. In fact having the reticle or a bigger crosshair improves your play since you can act quickly and shoot, instead of searching for the 'dot', since you can see where you are shooting more clearly. To say that you have a good aim, you need to shoot in the correct places on the first shot.
Hope you have fun.
