Question Hi Robert,
I'm a entry level software developer, I have an interview with a company. They told me to bring my portfolio. What kind of portfolio does a software developer has? I have no idea what to do and where to start.
Answer Beau,
what they mean is to bring with you a complete list of projects you've worked on in the past! Don't be afraid no specify college work and things you've done to someone, like helping out with web page or a function/module. Now, you can explain them how you've done it, but if they ask for the real thing you can object. If, for instance, you did some work for me, I would object if you gave someone a copy of our computer code. So, be smart and you should be fine!
Regards,
Robert
