Hi dear
my question is that we have an application in ASP  on front end and generate report through Seagate Crystal report 7. our problem is that when we run this application and reports on Windows 2000 server, the reports runs fine but when we shift our application to windows 2003 server and run from web server install from windows 2003 server. The reports does not run and give error mesage "error while connecting to data source"  we have checked the data source so many times, its ok. kindly give me some tips if u know where is the problem,
also note that we have install our crystal report server also on windows 2003 server

Hi Abdul Jalil,

I have not used Seagate Crystal report. I have no idea how it is configured. However, from the error message you have mentioned, I feel the database is not recognised by the application. What database you are using? If you are using MSAccess database, you may have to create system DSN or set up the ODBC connection manually in the windows 2003 server. Please check if the ODBC connection exist in the system.
