Hello Herman, a new feature film directed by Michelle Danner (How to Go Out on

a Date in Queens) and starring Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead, The Boondock

Saints), made its world premiere at the Hollywood Film Festival this past weekend.

We are pleased to announce that the event was a success, and that we are now in the

process of designing the nationwide theatrical rollout.

Hello Herman has also launched a comprehensive anti-bullying campaign on

Indiegogo.com.

The film is color corrected, sound designed, and ready to be shown—but we need

to do more. With the funds collected during the online campaign, we hope to

conduct extensive community outreach by bringing Hello Herman to a variety of U.S.

universities, high schools, art houses, and community events, inspiring serious and

structured discussions regarding bullying, youth violence, and our universal desire

to be heard and remembered by those around us.

Together, we can teach our children and peers to reach out to each other with

love and empathy, and never with hate. View the full campaign here: http://

www.indiegogo.com/helloherman?a=1146871.

"HELLO HERMAN is a powerful and important work, a darkly brilliant tone

poem about America's tango with violence and fame. Herman will get under

your skin. He may even follow you home. What is certain is you won't soon

forget him." -Vanity Fair

***

In the not so distant future, in Any Town USA, sixteen-year-old Herman Howards

(Garrett Backstrom) makes a fateful decision. He enters his suburban school and

kills thirty-nine students, two teachers, and one police officer.

Just before his arrest, he emails his idol, journalist Lax Morales (Norman Reedus): "I

want to tell my story on your show.” Lax, haunted by his own past and the loss of his

love Isa Luz (Martha Higareda), now sits face to face with Herman. As he helps the

troubled teen explore and understand his demons, Lax must finally face his own.
