Question
Hi peter,
i have a passion for modeling. i have been receiving e-mail from instantcast asking me to model for them, i have checked out the questions that some girls have asked you. they have not asked me for credit card info. after reading what these girls had to say, i feel that my mom and i should meet these people in person before doing anything. do you think that is a smart thing to do?
~michayla~
p.s. i am googling instantcast, Mr. Briggs and ms. Thomas to see if they have a record

Answer
Well done for searching around.
By now you will have seen the complaints about this company.
I searched their name too --
One interesting fact that emerged was that they are connected with a spam operator that sends a company's advert to all the cell numbers on its database.
There is no way of contacting them except through the website. If you have a complaint, you can't go round to the office and bang on the doors!
And have you seen the lame pictures on their client list?

Never trust a company that chases you like this, especially out of the blue. Every scam does this, and no legitimate company, agent, casting director, or producer would want to.

Save your money. Don't waste your time listening to a lot of lies.
