Question
I Have Been Looking For Any Advice On How To Break Into The Voice-Over Business. I Also Require Any Advice In Regards To An Educational Institute That Has Programmes Specific To This Field. Do You Have Any Suggestions?
Narration.
Commercial.
Etc.

Answer
Hi Marcus,

The only such programs I know of in Canada are the 2-year Acting for Film & TV courses available at Humber College in Toronto and Niagara College in Welland. Coincidentally, I teach the VO course at both colleges. Both colleges have web sites where you can obtain more information.

I've also been writing a self-help book and CD course in VO for those who can't afford college. I've completed 8 of the 14 chapters, but I have no idea when it will be completed. This could be an option for you in the future.

Otherwise, any theatre or acting program would be beneficial since it is, after all, acting.

Stay in contact. I'll keep you updated on my self-help course.

Good luck,

Roland
