Question
Hi Roland I am a graduate of your VO for professionals course at Ryerson. I have finally landed the Gig of a lifetime , the PA Announcer for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse league it was your coaching that helped .However it is not my first love if you remember me it was the Voice acting part that I loved and excelled at. I have made inroads in the business with Rogers TV and the professional sports scene in T.O .  I want to expand my horizons with more commercial work , can you recommend a good agent ?  The live announcing jobs have been great for my confidence , but there just seems to be something missing . all the best hope to hear from you soon .This is my latest.

Answer
Hello Ron,

If you go to Theatre Books at Bay & Bloor, they have a book on the front counter called "The Agents' Book". In it, you will find a list of all the talent agents in Toronto and several other useful tidbits. It is renewed every June. You should find what you need to know there.

If not, contact me again.

By the way, when did you attend my course and what is your last name?

Regards,

Roland
