Acupressure/not feeling any better yet......?

Question
Dear John
Me again - I have been doing the acupressure for adrenal glands (B23, B47, K27, K3, Con2) for nearly 3 weeks, 30 seconds on each point 4 times a day but still feel just as terrible as ever! I was wondering if there was anything I could do to speed up the process, ie do more of it or for longer at a time? My life has been destroyed for the last 15 years by this problem and I am willing to do whatever it takes to sort this out! One more thing, none of the points I am using hurt at all apart from K3, is this significant?
Thank you so much
Jade

Answer
Hi Jade,
Sorry to hear that this formula of points doesn't appear to be working. Before I suggest another set of points I just want to make sure that you are doing your acupressure with focus and intention. You have to be really self centered and concentrate on the task in hand - whilst you are working on the points you have to have positive intention all the time - its almost like meditating on a theme. Positive thought always helps both to focus the mind and also to engender the treatment. If you have been doing this I can suggest another approach using a different philosophy. The points are PC 6, SP 4 and CON 2. Con 2 you already know as the anterior aspect of the Base chakra and PC 6 and SP 4 are the Key points of the extraordinary meridians that work specifically on the adrenal medulla. PC 6 is 3 finger widths superior to the anterior wrist crease in the center of the forearm (it is sometimes the point used for seasickness) and SP 4 is found on the inner side of the foot, in the depression distal and inferior to the base of the first metatarsal bone. Both of these points should be tender to the touch. To answer another query of yours, generally speaking, if the point is tender it usually needs treatment. After working on these 3 points 3 times a day for 30 seconds each (with intention) lie down and just hold the anterior and posterior Brow chakra points i.e. at the base of the forehead in between the eyebrows (Yintang) and at the base of the skull in the huge gap between the skull and the top of the neck. Relax and hold these points for up to 5 minutes. This need be done just once at the end of the day. Let me know how you get on after a few weeks - JRC
