Acupuncture/Acupunture and a disappearing endometrioma/ Chocolate cyst

QuestionHello. I am 36 and have severe and extensive endometriosis, mainly on my left ovary.
I had an extensive laprascopy operation to remove damage to my left ovary, bowel, uterus, pouch of Douglas 2 years ago. I started trying for my first pregnancy a few months ago and my periods started to get much more painful. 2 months ago I had a scan and the Gynecologists found a 5.5cm endometriosis. Because of the pain and to help my fertility they booked me in to have an operation (for Nov 25 2008) to remove the cyst and told me this is the only way to get rid of this type of cyst. Meanwhile for the last few months I've also been having acupuncture to help my fertility and to stop my period pains.
When i told my Acupuncture doctor about my cyst he got excited and told me that he would be able to get rid of it. He told me to have a scan before my operation as it would show that it was gone.
Today, 4 weeks before my operation is due, I had to have an internal scan because I much to my surprise I am 5 weeks pregnant(HOORAY) but have been in pain and bleeding for 2 days.
The scan revealed that 2 months later the cyst has completely gone!
Can it really be true that my acupunture go rid of a cyst which the gynaeo said can only be removed by incision? And if so where has all the brown, old chocolate blood gone as its not come out of me yet?
It just all seems to good to be true.
Thanks. Rosa
AnswerCONGRATULATIONS ROSA!!!!
When the body is balanced all sorts of amazing things happen.
My guess is that your acupuncturist was working to tonify your spleen qi and regulate your liver among other things.
When the spleen is deficient, the body can form cysts as the function of vaporzing of fluids and is inhibited.
Rectify the spleen qi and the body dispenses of the cysts of it's own accord.
Most likely you just passed the waste out through the bowel.
I'm so happy for you!!
Cheers to a healthy, happy pregnancy and birth!!
