Subject: I have peripheral neuropathy

Question
Living in Waterford, MI. (about 45 miles N.W. of Detroit) I am in need of a good acupunturist for treating peripheral neuropathy. Which came on from two bulging discs and a very narrow spinal canal which set the stage for a crushed spinal cord and paralysis. Then in need of emergency surgery. I now have numbness, weakness, burning pain, stinging pain when touched by cold objects ect. I would like to be led to a good dr. who has treated this often.
Thank you, Eric W.

Answer
Hi Eric,
I don't personally know anyone in the Detroit area.  I usually refer people to our board certification website.  I feel that board certified Acupuncturists should be good practitioners. You may have to contact a few to find one that you feel comfortable with.  The website is www.NCCAOM.org

Good luck, Peripheral neuropathy is very treatable.
