Acupuncture/Pale, clay colored stools

Question
Hello,

About a month and a half ago I have a couple days of pale, clay colored stools. Again today, I have them again.
Can you give me some insight why.

Thank you

Answer
Hello,

Stools are colored by bilirubin.
Bilirubin is created by the breaking down of red blood cells in the liver. It is a part of bile, a fat emulsifier that is stored in the gallbladder and then squirted into the small intestine.

If you stools are uncolored, I would say that you are either not breaking down red blood cells as you should be in the liver, or that you are not transporting them through in the biliary system properly.

I would have an MD check your liver/gallbladder straight away.

In my opinion this falls under crisis management/critical care
and MD's are best suited for that.
