Question My son has tried everything, no test show why he is in pain. Acupuncture has been the only help. Problem is that many times he leaves in more pain then when he arrived and it takes 2 days to recover. Goes 2 times a week faithfully. Dr is insulted if you ask questions and has recently made reference that "you and your mother will blame me if you don't get better". Is there any reason to leave in more pain shooting down your legs then when you went in? I understand this Dr. is tops on the list. I don't want to lose faith but am starting to wonder. 43 sessions so far at $60 per cash on me. Ins won't cover. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Answer Hello Mary,
You and your son may want to find a different practitioner! He may want to see a neurologist and have a MRI. It is important to find a doctor who can explain his condition and determine treatment and level of disability.
