Acupuncture/acupuncture for essential tremor

Question
I have had essential tremors for over twenty five years.  I am very sensitive to medication and have just been weaned off Primidone due to unpleasant adverse reactions.  I have tried several other medications that are supposed to help the tremor but could not take them for very long.  The tremors are now much worse.  My neurologist now has me on Ativan.  It makes me feel terrible and is not effective for the tremors.  Do you think acupuncture could help in this case.

Answer
Judy, you are the perfect candidate for acupuncture.  Someone who hasn't responded well to med's and is wanting to try something less evasive.  I don't know your history but I would say it is definitely worth a try.  It may take a few series of treatments to see improvement.  A series is 10-12 treatments.
