Acupuncture - Muscular Dystropy

Expert: Prof. Dr. B.K. Singh - 3/19/2009

Question
I have a son who is 22 months old.He had harder calf muscles than his thigh and was advised to do a CPK test. His CPK value is 122.Kindly advise whether this is an indication of any muscle disorder

Answer
To confirm an active muscular dystrophy disease this CPK value is too low. Kindly keep an watch on the the child's walk. Does he falls often while running or walking. Does he have difficulty in rise from the ground while he is sitting. Biopsy is a good test to confirm the disease but usually I don't recommended if one needs my treatment as I have observed that biopsied patients who are treated using my acupuncture techniques show a delayed response to my treatment.
