Acupuncture/consistent, very painful, knotted, tight back and shoulders

Question
I am 17 years old, and I have a problem. I have had back pain for three years,
started with a mild spasmotic tortocalus (sp?) on one side that has spread to
pretty much my entire body. There are knots everywhere, including, but not
limited to, my arms, legs, face, etc. I have tried chiropractic visits, and
extensive massage, and nothing seems to be working. Should I have gone
more frequently/consistently to the chiropractor and/or massage place? My
insane schedule makes it difficult, but I'm pretty much miserable. I am not to
fond of the idea of needles, but there's not much more you can do to my back
besides break it at this point, so if that's what it takes, I'm willing. Some
options to look into is all I'm looking for, because I can't take the constant
pain anymore.

thank you for the consideration,
Ty

Answer
Hi Ty,
I know what it is like to be in constant pain.  That was the way I lived before I tried Acupuncture.  Mine started at 18.  You need to get this under control now.  Acupuncture may be able to help you.  The needles aren't painful.  Most of the time you feel nothing getting them inserted.  Sometimes you feel a little prick.  You will probably have to be going a few times a week to the acupuncturist.  But you need to make the commitment to do so.  You need to get this under control while your still young.

Hope this helps,
