Dear Sir, i am a player of kick boxing and i was having a lot of pain in both of my shoulders, after having shoulder Ultra sonographic scan the doctor told me that in the tendon of infraspinatus muscle of my left shoulder is showing full thickness tear. It is stated i don't wana go through surgical procedure and i want any ulternate course of medicine or any therapy through which i can get it repaired and can play kick boxing again. i will be highly obliged if i find any solution. Thanking you

Answer
Hi Faisal,
Traditional Chinese Medicine may be able to help you. You should be able to heal. It's just going to take some time. You wouldn't be able to compete while going through the Acupuncture/ Chinese herbal medicine process.  It may take a few months for you to heal properly.  You should also do some physical therapy. The fact that your are an athlete and in good physical shape will be in your favor. Depending on how well you heal will mandate whether you can compete again or not.

I wish you well.
