QUESTION: Strok attacked on 3rd of May, 2010 recovery of speaking, memory, but back is still paralized while moment in left leg but no moment in left hand
ANSWER: Hello Abdul,
Sorry to take so long to get back to you.
Stroke is called wind stroke in TCM, (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
For the type that causes paralysis, we have two types;tense or closed type and flaccid or open type.
Tense type is identified as sudden collapse with clenched teeth and fists, locked jaw and red face. This corresponds to yin collapse or severe internal dryness.
Flaccid type is identified as sudden collaspe, hands and mouth open with eyes closed, pale face, oily beads of sweat on the forehead and often loss of control of the bowels.
Du 26, Du 20 and BL 7 are used to remove the abstructions from the channels, these are important to clear. After that, working on the muscles directly along the bladder and outer bladder chain will be more effective.
Herbal medicine is also going to be extremely important to help clear this up and protect from future stroke.
The formula would have to be made according to the typw of wind stroke.
