Acupuncture/numbness in feet and calf

Question
My 80 year old mother has numbness in her feet and calf, not all the time.  She has lost her sense of balance and has to hold on to things when walking.  6 months ago she was walking 18 holes of golf and walking the dog 3 miles.  She has no pain at all.  She can walk better on carpet, but on wood, marble or tile she cannot walk.  Do you think acupuncture can help her. She was also diagnosed with Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo which she went to therapy for but still has not gotten her balance back

Yes, I do think that Acupuncture can help your mom.  It is worth a try and can not hurt her situation.  Since it wasn't that long ago that she was active, it shouldn't take long to treat and see some results.  Acupuncture can be very effective for vertigo and balance issues.
