Question
I had a displaced fracture of my pinkie finger 3 months ago ....was casted with my ring finger for three weeks I developed complex regional pain syndrome. Have had therapy since cast removed and two stellate ganglion blocks to tolerate PT but have no active movement of pinkie and limited in ring finger. Could I benefit from acupuncture?
Thanks

Answer
Hey Belinda,

Acupuncture is very good at breaking up adhesions and scar tissue.
There is a technique called sparrow pecking that can be used to break up
tough tissue. Sometimes it's not the most comfortable technique, but it does get the job done.
The sooner you start after the scarring the better.

Good luck,
