Acupuncture/torn rotator cuff

Question
Can acupunture help with the pain from a torn rotator cuff?  The timing is such that I can't afford the recovery time at the present and must wait about 6 months.  Can accupuncture help with the pain in the mean time?

I'm not exactly clear what you mean when you say "I can't afford the recovery time...must wait about 6 months."  However, acupuncture can definitely help with pain reduction.  Acupuncture can also help increase the the healing time by reducing inflammation, promoting circulation and stimulating the healing process in the area.  If you need to have surgery to repair the tear, acupuncture can also help your post-surgery recovery.  There are even acupuncturists who specialize in these types of injuries so I encourage you to check around to see if there is one in your area.
