Acupuncture/can acupuncture help paralyzed

Question
I met my Boyfriend 2 months. He got into a car accident between 10-12 yrs ago. He broke his neck and somehow he paralyzed from his leg down and he can't bend his fingers. I'm vietnamese so I know acupuncture can help other pain. So I wonder is acupunture can help paralyzed. I wish he be able to walk again or his fingers work as before.

Unfortunately, paralysis from a physical severing of the nerves would not reversed by acupuncture.  If he is having other problems associated with his paralysis such as pain or problems associated with his lifestyle modifications (wheelchair, crutch, etc...) then acupuncture should be able to help those problems well.
