Acupuncture/nerve damage

Question
I had successful spinal surgery 8 years ago but ended up with two feet that are about 3/4 numb and right thigh.  I have very little balance because of that and since have had 3 spinal fusions, also successful but now numbness also in lower back especially where the L4 L5 disc was replaced.  It is extremely frustrating because of not having balance, I must use a walker.  I cannot walk zny distance or excercise because of spasms in thighs and feet.  Would accu picture help?  After the first surgery the doctors assured me all feeling would come back...nothing has changed.......thanks

Answer
Hi,Jan,
I have personally treated patients (a few) with neuropathy post spinal surgery with success.  One patients was 10 years post surgery.  He was able to walk but his feet were numb.  After about 6 treatments he started to regain sensation.  It would only last a day or two, but it got better they longer he was in treatment.  So I would say yes acupuncture can help your condition and it would be worth trying.
