Question
Hi Heather

I read your post about this formula
I would like to know the scientific/chinese/pinyin names for the next two ingredienst in the formula:
-liu huang
-qing fen

Thanks in advance

Wow

Answer
Hi Wow,  Liu huang (pin yin),sulphur (scientific)
qing fen (pin yin, Calomelas (scientific)
Both clear heat toxic and kill parasites. They both are toxic and caution needs to be used.  Not for long term use.  Qing fen contains mercury, overdose can lead to kidney damage.  They are both powerful herbs.  To be only used in the care of an herbalist and in this case externally.

Warm regards,
