Hello Dr. O'Brien,

I'm wondering if you have any suggestions for the Natural Removal of Ovarian Cysts.  I was just diagnosed with one a month ago.  I currently am living a very Natural life - no pharmaceutical meds, etc.  The doctor I saw said that surgery is the only way to get rid of the cyst.  I'm hoping for an alternative.  
Can acupuncture help?  Do you know any homeopathic or other natural remedies for cysts?  I'm very open to any advice.

Hello Emelia,

  Acupuncture may help with ovarian cysts.  It is important to determine the cause of the cyst, many times they can be hormone related.  Natural Progesterone cream may also help depending on your estrogen and progesterone levels.  You may want to call around in your city to find a acupuncturist who has treated ovarian cysts and have them correlate with your M.D..
