Question
Can acupuncture help with acne? and if so, how do i choose a good Acupuncturist? Any advice greatly appreciated.Thank you
Answer
As per my experience acupuncture does make a difference in cases of acne, but a proper pulse diagnosis is needed to establish the right cause, points selection, and the line of treatment. It may require a longer treatment with proper follow up including a maintenance acupuncture treatment. Some patients response very well while other may show a frustrating response.In such cases a time to time case evaluation is needed which may alter the treatment strategy. Avoid steroids applications as far as possible.
