Acupuncture/Bell's Palsy

Question
Hello --

The husband (age 30-something) of a good friend of mine was just
diagnosed with Bell's Palsy.  His doctor put him on steroids and
antibiotics.  Can you suggest any possible alternative/natural treatments?

Kate Duncan

Answer
Hello Kate,

Often Bell's Palsy is a nuerological reaction.  Having a doctor of chiropractic adjust his cervical spine may help improve his condition and reduce the time it takes Bell's Palsy to resolve.  Acupuncture has also been noted to help this condition.

Have a great day,
