Hi,
Not sure if you can help, but my question is, where is the safest and most cost effective place to buy chinese herbs (over the internet or via a store)?

I am not sure of individual sites. I feel comfortable with Plum Flower brand herbs. I know they are available online to purchase. I would suggest going to a professional Chinese Herbalist. Preferably with a masters degree in Chinese Medicine. I would be cautious self diagnosing. Chinese Herbals are to be used based on a system of pattern identification. For example A Chinese Herbal for headaches may not work for everyone the same way. You should chose a formula depending on your pattern. If you are a warm temperature person some herbs will be too hot for you and make you sweat excessively or make the headaches worse. I suggest that you talk with a professional herbalist to help you decide which herbal formulas are appropriate for you. That is the safest and most effective way to get Chinese Herbals.
