Hello again Dr. O'Brien,
I came across a vacuum cupping set with vacuum pump, hoses, vacuum gun, & biomagnetic pressure,(non-invasive) needles that could be used within the cups.
To your knowledge, are the vacuum gun/hose type cup sets any better than using the old fashion method of burning some alcohol moistened cotton & letting it create the vacuum? Are the plastic cups as effective as glass, & are the biomagnetic cups worth any additional consideration?

Hello Mike,

  The old fashion method is a little more difficult to get the exact amount of vacuum seal.  The pump is used more frequently in practice due to the aforementioned reason.  You will get your desired effect with both methods.
