Acupuncture/Gall Bladder

Question
For the past 2 months I have had nausea and diarreha.  Both of them have been off and on.  I went to a local doctor last Friday and he gave me Metronidazole - 500 mg to take 3 times a day for 10 days.  This medicine has left me with more nausea and the diarreha is back again today.  I have a nasty taste in my mouth at times that almost tastes like bile.  Could there be a problem with my gall gladder.  It has not been checked in 2 years.  I did have an allergic reaction to UTRIA and Ciproflaxin November 24, 2004 which left me unconscious for 2 days.  I have had lots of health issues since that time.

Please offer any suggestions that you think might help.

Answer
Hello Marcia,

You may want to see a specialist of Internal medicine, they will be able to give you a acurate diagnosis.  Make sure they rule out any intestinal bugs/parasites/virus, that antibiotics do not kill.  Also you may want to take a acidolphilus supplement to reinocculate your good bacteria in the large intestine.

Have a great day,
