Question
I HAVE SEEN AN ENT SPECIALIST WHO DIAGNOSED A VIROL INFECTION WHICH CAUSED INTERMITTENT FACIAL NUMBNESS ON LEFT SIDE OF FACE.HE SAID THIS COULD LAST FOR 12 MONTHS.I WONDERED IF ACUPUNCTURE WOULD RELIEVE THESE SYMPTOMS AS THEY ARE NOT PAINFUL BUT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND THE THOUGHT OF ANOTHER 6 MONTHS OF THIS IS QUITE DAUNTING.

THANK YOU.

Answer
Hello Marlene,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I was not able to retrieve my email messages for a couple of days.
Yes, acupuncture may help reduce the symptoms and time.  You may want to see a licensed acupuncturist who is educated in herbology, there are many herbs that can boost your immune system and aid with your acupuncture treatment.

Sincerely,
