Acupuncture/Quitting smoking

Question
I am 35 years old, and have been a nonsmoker my whole life except for the last year.

I just quit, and am finding it easy not to smoke.

I am interested in whether there are any chinese herbs or herbal formulations that can help my body clean itself up!

I am on a very limited budget, hence my desire to work with herbs only, instead of in addition to acupuncture.

Thank you!

Answer
Hello Diana,

Glad to hear you quit smoking!  For a limited budget one of the Best and most important things to take is Vitamin C., you want to take 2-3 grams per day.  There are lots of herbal formulas that are designed for detoxification and teas too.  Fruits and vegetable have lots of antioxidents which help cleanse the free radical build up you get from smoking.... so a change in the grocery list helps!!!  Silymarin also known as Milk Thistle is one of the most power herbs used to cleanse and rejuvenate the liver.

Those are some changes you may want to make/add.
