Question I was diagnosed with Menieres disease two years ago. I also have low blood pressure. I tryed the low salt thing but it got worse. I have been to a TMJ dentist and am now seeing a chiropractor. Nothing has helped. I have vertigo spells off and on everyday and my ear rings all the time. Does anyone else have this condition or have any info. Does acupuncture work for this. Please help I am in my twenties and don't know how much longer I can live like this.
Answer Salt has water retaining properties. A low salt diet helps in hypertension not in low blood pressure. As far as your problem with vertigo, tinnitus, and Meniere's disease is concerned, they all may be related with your internal ear. Acupuncture may help in your case. Please consult a good acupuncturist in your area.
