My name is Branny and I am a freelance writer. You have already answered a few of my questions but I am now researching for an article on this ancient practice and wondered if I could use your answers to my questions for this article. My questions are: Can Acupuncture be used for emotional and mental disorders as well as physical ones? And I have heard that acupuncture is being used cosmetically. Is there anything to suggest that acupuncture can help with wrinkles and other facial cosmetic complaints? The last thing is that I am currently receiving acupuncture for fluid trapped in my middle ear. Although the pain has gone there still seems to be a swelling there. Does acupuncture take a while to work I have had 4 treatments so far.
Many thanks
Branny
Answer Dear Branny,
Thanks for your email queries. I'm a developer and promoter of Bhupendra Techniques of Acupuncture which is based on my scientific medical knowledge, about 40 years of medical and acupuncture practice experience, and my research and knowledge of Kundilini Yoga, Chakra, and Indian Nadi system which is very close to acupuncture points and meridian system. I feel that acupuncture is a connecting link between spiritual and physical components of a living being. Since acupuncture also works through nervous system it definitely helps in treating many emotional and mental problems and I have been treating these cases from more that 3 decades in over 40 countries during my international travels. Acupuncture certainly works for cosmetic problems and I have demonstrated it many times and presented my research papers intentionally. My work on cosmetic breast correction and weight deduction by Bhupendra techniques of acupuncture is fast gaining popularity in many countries in Europe due to my frequent workshops. Acupuncture should work for your case also but it will require some more time as body needs healing time. You can visit my website for more details about my lectures, work and Bhupendra Techniques. My latest book "Images" also throws light on physical and spiritual connections of human beings.
