hello,i have a herniated disc between L4&L5 in my back and i also have disc deteriation in L3,4,5,where the doctor said the discs have dried out and there is no longer any water in those discs.i have tried accupunture to relieve a bulging disc about 8 years ago and it worked very well, but the pain i have with this is alot worse.i really don`t want to have surgery to fix this so i want to explore all alternative methods first.any advise would be much appreciated.thanks.

Answer
Hello Troy,

You may want to see a Doctor of Chiropractic, they specialize in treatment of the spine, joints, and musculature.  This may provide relief for your condition.  Also you may want to have acupuncture especially if it was successful the first time, acupuncture can relieve a lot of pain!  Always drink a lot of water, slow stretching, and ice the low back, no heat!

Have a great day,
