Acupuncture/muscle tightness

Question
On my left the trap is always tight and has a knot, sometimes feels like an ice pick is in when doing certain lifting. Deep tissue massage works great but pain and knot is back within 2 days. Thanks, Tim

Answer
Hello Tim,

Find a doctor of chiropractic who specializes in soft tissue/ sports injuries.  Myofascial Release or Active Release will greatly reduce the adhesion.  Adjusting the spine will also reduce the muscle tension (by reducing the nerve irritation) then the spasm cycle can stop.

Have a great day,
