Question
I just started Acupuncture for GAD and muscle related tension (a knot in my side, under the floating ribs), 2 sessions so far.  I'm wondering how this treatmeant really works, and if theres anything else i can do to beat this monster?

Answer
Hello John,

GAD as you know involves a lot!  Finding the root of the problem sometimes takes a specialist or personal consultant who is trained in GAD's.  For the muscle tension a doctor of chiropractic who specializes in soft tissue injuries may give you the best result.  Acupuncture can help with both of these conditions but sometimes you may need a more aggressive therapy.

Hope the information helps,
