Subject: Acura Integra CD problem

Question
I have a 1999 Acura Integra LS hatchback.  The CD player began reading the PEO message (per the manual) and CD's won't play.  Is there any repair the dealer can make on the spot without removing the stereo?  If it requires removing and mailing off for repair, I assume, replacing the stereo is more cost effective.  Do you recommend a web site I can contact that offiers Acura compatible stereos with my factory speakers?  Can't find the specs for my speakers on any web site or manual either.  Thank you.

Answer
First try disconnecting the - NEGATIVE battery cable for 10 seconds reconnect, then enter the 5 digit anti theft code. If it still has the error message then id recommend a new cd player. Crutchfield.com, circuit city, and frys has compatible stereo for you car.
