Expert: Bao V. Date: 4/17/2007 Subject: Car stereo Error
Question I have a 99 Acura CL. The factory(Matsushita) cd player keeps displaying "Err-3." I can't get the radio to work either. The owner's manual doesn't explain this particular error. What's wrong with the stereo and would it be worth repairing rather than replacing the stereo?

Answer Hi, first you must have the 5 digit anti-theft code, should be on a plastic card given to you when you bought the car. If you dont have it, then you must remove the radio to get the serial number on the top of the radio. And only then can the dealer get you the radio code. If its too expensive to do all that then its best to get a new cd/mp3 player.
