Question
Hi...I have a 91 Acura Integra RS (DOHC) 5 spd...the problem is that I just recently bought the car from a friend...when i bought the car from him the oil light on the dashboard remains on always..........but 2 weeks later the oil light now starts to blink everytime i start the car, and continues to blink until the car is turned off....i checked the oil and it has enough oil....i removed the spark plug wires and there is a little bit of oil on the plug wires inner core....I am also smelling some oil as I drive.....I checked underneat the car and there is no oil leaking...What could be the problem???

PLease help me out....
thank you
stephen

Answer
In all honesty, I don't know what could be wrong.  I do know that the light is on for a reason, and that reason could cause damage to the engine if you don't have it checked out.  I don't want to scare you, but they put those warning lights in cars for a reason, to warn you something is wrong.  Even though you can't see anything wrong and it's possible that the light is just broken, I would still go have it checked out by a mechanic.

Best of luck,
Brian
