Question
how does the dealer clean/detail the engine? they look like wet and shining.

Answer
Hi Danny:
Well, to be quite honest, I don't know how a dealer does it.  I have used a solution that my dad always called "gunk" I would spray it on and then rinse it off with water, and the engine would come out looking better.  I am not sure where you can find "gunk", and my Dad is on vacation, so I can't ask him.  There is also Simple Green which does a great job of cleaning the engine.  Lastly, you can take your engine to be steam cleaned.  I am not sure who in your area might do this.  There is an Aamco here in KC that does it, I have no idea what the process is, or what they do.

Best of luck, you could also try contacting the dealer and see what they suggest.

Have a great day!
Brian
