Subject: Left brake light

Question
I have a 2002 acura el.The left brake light does not work. The bulb and the fuse are ok.Also the spoiler light and the back glass brake light also does not work.I have not check the bulbs in those.I am not sure where the left circuit comes from.

Answer
Hi Cecil,

Try using a multi meter and connect it to the bulb socket, try it out on a working socket just to make sure the meter is working properly then use it on the one that is not working. See if your getting anything at all, sometimes it could be a weak amperage to the socket and you may need to use a different fuse. Try that out and see what you find out.

Thank you,
Daniel
