Question windows in my '94 Pontiac formula work slowly and spirattically. When they are not working a noise can be heard just above the gas pedal, like a clicking sound. about 4 years ago I had a new unit installed w/ motor and mechanism. Is there anything to check out above the gas pedal area before I take the door panel off? Also there is only one fuse for both sides and the other window works fine. Thanks, Ken
Answer The clicking sound is a relay for the window.
You wont need to mess with this.
Take the panel off and start looking for reasons of why the electricity isn't getting to where it needs to be.
Maybe water on the motor or in the motor.
It could also be binding on something.
