Answer
Jessica,

the first thing you should do is get
to a safe place like a relative
or friend or a women's shelter.
If you call his superior officers
he may get angry and violent again.

You can call the police or his
superiors once you are somewhere
safe where he can not harm you.

Why do want to marry a man that
drinks and is violent?
His behaviour toward you is not
likely to change any time soon.
He will continue to scare and
abuse you later if he does
not get counselling and quit
drinking.

Many women go back to abusers
many times and often they
are hurt or even killed.
It is your choice but I
from my viewpoint you
are heading into a really
bad relationship which
is only going to be worse
the next time he drinks.

Please get away or call the
police before he hurts you
or somebody else.

Your local womens shelter can
help you with sorting out your
feelings and why you are attracted
to a violent man. This is not love
and don't mistake his anger
for passion it is just fear and
control. Follow your brain rather
than your feelings on this one.
